Zuckerman Endorsed by People’s Action and CVDSA 

BURLINGTON: Today, the Zuckerman campaign added two more organizations to their growing list of endorsers: People’s Action and The Champlain Valley Democratic Socialists of America (CVDSA). This follows yesterday’s announcement of Senator Bernie Sanders’ endorsement.

People’s Action is a national network of state and local grassroots organizations dedicated to justice and progressive policies. The Champlain Valley Democratic Socialists of America is a Vermont Local Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America. Both organizations are dedicated to assisting Lt. Governor David Zuckerman in his gubernatorial bid. 

Campaign Manager Megan Polyte said, “With just two weeks until the Primary, these endorsements are examples of our growing momentum and broad support. State and national organizations, unions and their members, and thousands of Vermonters are excited about our campaign and putting their time and resources behind David Zuckerman and his bid for Governor.”

People’s Action and the CVDSA’s endorsements follow a quickly growing list of endorsements for Zuckerman. Just yesterday, the campaign announced the endorsement of Senator Bernie Sanders. Lt. Governor Zuckerman has also been endorsed by: Our Revolution, Rights & Democracy, People for the American Way, Moms Demand Action, the Vermont Sierra Club, the Vermont AFL CIO, CWA Local 1400, and AFSCME Council 93, and over 100 elected and former elected leaders, educators and farmers.
