Lt. Governor Hosts Music for Vermont

BURLINGTON: With in-person campaigning suspended due to Covid-19, Lt. Governor Zuckerman is launching Music for Vermont (#Music4VT). This virtual concert series will host a different musical act from Vermont every Thursday at 7:30PM and stream the event live into living rooms across the state.

“Music is a vital part of every community and can bring connection, comfort and relief to those who create, listen, sing along and dance,” said Lt. Governor Zuckerman. He continued, “We’ve created this virtual concert series to showcase some of the amazing talent we have in our state and I hope this activity will provide some relief from the stress, anxiety and worry many Vermonters are experiencing right now.”

#Music4VT debuts tonight, April 2nd, at 7:30PM with the music of Jon Gailmor, a well-known singer and songwriter from Eden, Vermont. Jon has been writing and singing in Vermont and around the world for decades. His music often reflects on life and varies from silly to serious. Jon has sung with kids through his residencies in schools, at the 25th anniversary of the Kennedy Center in DC, and even in the Vermont State House.

Concerts will be streamed live on Facebook (/zuckermanforvt) and YouTube (Zuckerman for Vermont).
