Lt. Governor Zuckerman Reports Best Two-week Fundraising To-Date

BURLINGTON: To date, the Zuckerman for VT campaign has raised a total of $628,863 from 5,233 contributors.

In the last two weeks, the Zuckerman campaign has raised $62,342 from 764 contributors. The per donor average was $81. This is the most the Zuckerman for VT campaign has raised in a two-week span.

Zuckerman’s broad support of over five thousand individual contributors stands in stark contrast to Governor Scott’s fundraising. Prior to this fundraising report, Scott had raised funds from only 1,057 donors, including businesses and corporations. Lt. Governor Zuckerman does not take corporate contributions.

The success of the Zuckerman for VT fundraising this period can be attributed to growing momentum following the gubernatorial debates, the release of a new ad: “Vision, not Vetoes,” and a successful fundraising campaign called “The Pony Up  Ponytail Competition” where supporters were asked to pick “Team Keep It” or “Team Cut It” and the Team with the most raised will decide the fate of David’s signature ponytail. The results of this competition will be announced at the campaign’s virtual Get Out The Vote Rally this Sunday.
