Zuckerman for VT Announces “ZUCKERMANIA!” 

BURLINGTON: Today, the Zuckerman for VT campaign announced the release of “ZUCKERMANIA!”, a one-of-a-kind ice cream flavor created by Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. 

The campaign released ZUCKERMANIA! over email and social media through a donation raffle: Any individual who donates to the Zuckerman for VT campaign now through September 14th will be entered into a raffle to win a pint each time they contribute. The campaign will also offer raffle tickets to volunteers when they participate in scheduled activities over the next 2 weeks.

The flavor: “Mapled Vermont Strawberry Chunks gently folded into Vanilla Ice Cream with a Vermont Blueberry Ripple”

In an email to supporters ZUCKERMANIA! creator Ben Cohen said, 

“Together, we are going to elect David as Governor of Vermont so he can provide creative, inclusive and collaborative leadership. That's what we need, now more than ever.

But to get there, to bring a bold new flavor of leadership to Vermont, we need to have a robust, people-powered network that will spread David's vision throughout our state. David has never accepted corporate corporations. And this campaign is no different.”

Each pint of ZUCKERMANIA! will be hand made by Ben Cohen and shipped to the lucky winners. The ice cream comes with a poem, also written by Ben Cohen.
